This Week in TottonCraft-Houses, Updates and PvP!!
Welcome back to the latest issue of This Week in TottonCraft! This past week has been busy as usual. First off, if you have been hiding under a rock then you may not know that we have updated to version 1.5! Version 1.5 adds many new features including, hoppers, comparators, quartz and improved mob AI to name a few. If you have an ingenious design that utilizes new features and want to show it off to the rest of TottonCraft let me know and we would be happy to check it out!

This week we welcome three new houses to Totton. Magnesiumbox has started building on an island just off the northeast coast. Among the buildings that have already gone up is a house built by him and Shady_Celt. Also, Divinepotato has finished the exterior of his house. Potato’s build can be found on the southeast end of the continent and features some barns and a few farms. Lastly, I, Ranger910 have finally settled down and built a house in the middle of town.

Also new this week is TottonCraft’s first PvP battle! Bjh410 has been constructing a PvP arena in town and it is looking good! When completed the arena will be able to host 2,3 or 4 player battles as well as booths for betting on contestants. Bjh and I decided to take it for a spin this past week and only one of us walked out alive. If you are in the area make sure to check it out. NOTE-PvP is against TottonCraft rules except in the confines of the arena floor and only with both parties’ consent.

This Week In TottonCraft!-What the Blazes!!
Another week has flown by in TottonCraft and there has been lots to report on! First off we would like to welcome several new people. Remontinger and Jwoodles were new this week and they are working on a place together down on the southeast coast. Also new are 58geobeat58, moonz1992, and RunninYote. They have been working on a sweet lodge just south of town. If you have a chance check it out! The following is a small gallery of images from their build.

Also new this week is the Blaze Grinder! As far as I know Zim did all the work on the new blaze grinder. If you see him online don’t forget to say thanks! It looks great and is a much needed addition to TottonCraft. You can find the blaze grinder by taking the east road in the nether hub. You will see the entrance on the right hand side of the road. Speaking of the nether hub, our old nether hub underwent considerable remodeling this week. StarfishBlack did an excellent job making it look nice and clean. Don’t forget to check out the panorama shot of the new nether hub at the end of this post!

And to follow up on a story from last week, there has been some nice progress on the new train station. Below you will see a picture of the new road and bridge which heads south from the station. Thanks to Illosophy for the great architectural design of the new bridge. It really does look very nice!

Castles, Carts, and Creepers!
We have several projects going on currently in Totton that deserve highlight in this weeks edition of….Drumroll…. This Week in TottonCraft!!
First off, MichiganMama has begun working on an outstanding castle. You may be thinking that you have seen every castle there is to see. However, this one is unique in several ways and you would be doing yourself a favor in checking it out in your free time. The castle-under-construciton is located at approximately (-70, -250).

If you haven’t been on in awhile you may not have seen our new cart station. Illosophy has been designing a cart station that is state of the art. As of now it looks like a big discombobulated mess but when it is finished it will be amazing!. This is a project that the whole community will benefit from so feel free to offer input or donations if you would like to. Also there are lockers in the basement for personal storage and there up for grabs right now! Stop by and claim one for yourself before they are all gone!

And last but not least. CREEPER! Here’s a photo of me playing in the fountain with a creeper! Make sure to check in next week for more interesting builds, TottonCraft news and maybe, if we are lucky, an interview with the one and only pink-clad zombie and unofficial mascot of Totton!

Server Updated to 1.4.6
You can now update your minecraft clients to 1.4.6 and connect to the server. I want to see some epic fireworks!

And on the Third Day, The Server Rose Again
Fine citizens of TottonCraft,
After weathering Hurricane Sandy, it is with great relief that I can deliver the following message to you all:
WE’RE BACK!!!
We had right around 73 hours of downtime. Lost power at about 5:00PM Monday, and it has been restored at approximately 6:00PM Thursday. Thankfully, we suffered no damage to our property, and the generator we had got us by. In comparison to how bad Long Island and New Jersey had it, we are very fortunate.
Thank you all for your patience during the downtime, and let the games resume!
